One half of the room is a meeting area where there is room for approx. 50 people.
It is possible to show movies as an introduction to the guild's efforts to produce and test Tilia. This is available in Danish, English and German.
We also have a number of film / television recordings with and about Tilia that can be shown.
There are occasional lectures for guild members and guests.
In the second half there are tables where div. forms of needlework, literature studies, documentation work and then of course be plain socializing with coffee and tea and, in fortunate cases, also with cake!
There is a small kitchen in a corner of the room.
Exhibition
Clothing in the Iron Age
At the Linden-Boatyard, members of the Guild have made an exhibition of mannequins wearing Iron Age costumes. The figures are wearing replicas of clothing from the Iron Age, to the extent possible from the Celtic Iron Age, or from the first part of the Roman Iron Age.
There are literature references to the findings that have formed the background for the suits and their details, with a view to possible elaboration of the topic.
There is a detailed description of the individual items on this page.
Iron objects
We have made copies of the different types of weapons found in Hjortspring Bog.
The objects found are described in more detail in the section with the Hjortspring Find.
Wooden objects
The objects found are described in more detail in the section with the Hjortspring-Find .
Sales
At the entrance we have a small sales stall where you can buy books, postcards, pearl necklaces, bracelets and miscellaneous small tools as well as T-shirts and caps with Hjortspinglauget's logo.
